SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of the eye of Super Typhoon "BETTY" {MAWAR} was estimated based on all available data at 1,055 km East of Central Luzon (16.6°N, 132.0°E), with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h. It is moving Westward at 25 km/h. Southwesterly Windflow affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
