SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 790 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (9.0°N, 133.5°E). It is embedded along the Intertopical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
