SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "EMONG" was estimated based on all available data at 755 km East Northeast of Catarman, Northern Samar or 775 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (14.1°N, 131.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness up to 70 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward at 30 km/h. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 225 km West of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (13.4°N, 119.1°E).
